🖊️ Could you describe your leadership style and philosophy, with specific examples?

My leadership journey has always been rooted in the roles of a trainer and educator. From my early days at Bharat Petroleum, where I led transformative change, my vision was to become an inspirational leader, someone who can genuinely think beyond the present. So my leadership style is to be a visionary leader.

Managers manage what existing processes themselves in the best possible way. But leaders are the ones who have a picture of the future that they want to create.

🤩 Korean Franchises: A New Frontier Beyond Mining

As the landscape of foreign investment in Mongolia evolves, South Korean franchises emerge as standout performers, diversifying the economy beyond its traditional reliance on mining. This article explores the burgeoning presence of these brands and their impact on the Mongolian market.

👍 Excellent

In recent years, popular Korean franchise brands significantly increase their footprint in Mongolia. Notably, Mega Coffee, one of South Korea's beloved franchises, enters the Mongolian market this year. Meanwhile, Subway, originally an American brand but immensely popular in South Korea, opens its second branch in just 3 months. Mom's Touch, a fast-food franchise, launched in Mongolia last year and has rapidly expanded to 7 locations. With ambitions to surpass KFC, Mom's Touch plans to establish 20 branches by next year, showcasing the potential for growth in this sector.

  • 😋 Interestingly, the initial monthly sales figures of Mom's Touch branches in Mongolia outperform those in South Korea, prompting the brand to pursue further market expansion. Tous les Jours, a dessert franchise beloved by locals, reports a 20% revenue increase over the past 9 months compared to the previous year. After entering the Mongolian market 8 years ago, Tous les Jours now boasts 19 branches, demonstrating the enduring appeal of Korean franchises.

🦋 Economic Impact of Franchising

The influx of world-renowned brands through franchising not only enhances the consumer landscape but also stimulates job creation and investment in the local economy. These businesses, grounded in established operational models, enable local entrepreneurs to bring international standards to the Mongolian market, thereby bolstering the overall economic environment.

  • 📰 An American investment risk report reinforces this optimistic outlook, highlighting Mongolia as a viable destination for investment. The impressive performance of foreign franchises indicates that the Mongolian market remains receptive to innovative business models, provided that political involvement remains minimal.

In conclusion, the rise of South Korean franchises in Mongolia reflects a dynamic shift in the country's economic landscape, showcasing the potential for growth outside the mining sector. As these brands continue to thrive, they pave the way for new opportunities and the diversification of Mongolia's economy.
